Rule #1

The things that took place at the table during the bidding and the play are far more important than any abstract probabilities.

 

Rule #2:

The probabilities for card-distribution vary during play because with every card played some of the a-priori outcomes aren't no more possible.

Odd number breaks even, even number breaks odd.
