There are a few probabilities you should know. The figures are rounded for better memorizing.

Simple finesse: 50%

Double finesse: 75%

3 cards are distributed	3/0 22%	2/1 78%

Rule #1

The things that took place at the table during the bidding and the play are far more important than any abstract probabilities.

Rule #2:

The probabilities for card-distribution vary during play because with every card played some of the a-priori outcomes aren't no more possible.
